Willow & Tide

This work is coaching, not crisis care or mental health treatment. If you're in crisis or worried about your safety, please reach out to 988 (call or text, any time) or your local emergency services. You deserve support that meets you where you are.

Willow & Tide Coaching is grateful to work and live on the lands of Treaty 20, also known as the Rice Lake Purchase.  This treaty, established in 1818, is between the Crown and Anishinaabe Peoples.

This area is also covered by Dish with One Spoon Wampum, which predates the arrival of Europeans on Turtle Island.  This peace treaty was between the Anishinaabeg and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.  The "dish" represents the shared territory and bountiful resources of the land, while the "one spoon" signifies that everyone must share the land collectively and peacefully. There are no knives at the table, meaning violence is forbidden and care must be taken to ensure the dish is never left empty.
